TrackLink USBL Systems Maintain High Popularity Myriax Releases Eonfusion V1.2
Myriax released Eonfusion V1.2, its 4D software application for integration, exploration, analysis and visualization of time-varying geospatial data. The upgrade release is highlighted by new support for input and output data formats including Google Earth's KML format and a number of performance and usability improvements. Eonfusion supports an expanded list of data formats which greatly increases the number and scope of applications for the product. Eonfusion now includes two Keyhole Markup Language (KML) writers for export of vector and raster data to Google Earth. Database access via ODBC and ODBC SQL data sources has also been added. Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL) support has been expanded with the inclusion of support for the OGR library for simple feature vector data types. OGR support also allows for flexible database and web data source access.

LinkQuest's reports that its TrackLink USBL tracking systems have been maintaining popularity, as evidenced by several contracts for TrackLink 1500 systems with commercial and government organizations. LinkQuest delivered a third TrackLink 1500HA system to Fugro Survey B.V. at Netherlands. This system will primarily be used for offshore oil and gas field operations in long-range high-multipath environments. LinkQuest has also recently delivered a TrackLink 1500HA USBL tracking system to Fisheries & Oceans Canada at New Brunswick. This Canadian government organization will use the system as a general purpose underwater tracking tool in its operations. A TrackLink 1500LC system was delivered to Maritech, Greece. It is the second system which the company has purchased within three months. A TrackLink 1500LC and a TrackLink 1500HA system were also recently delivered to Saab Seaeye in UK. The TrackLink 1500LC system will be integrated into a Seaeye Falcon ROV purchased by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for search and rescue operations.

used with the Grad-03-ACU Analog Correction Unit, a unit used to adjust the Grad-03-500M. It is suitable for operation on remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) as long as the magnetic signature of the vehicle is determined and corrected from the data. The Grad-03-500M is a three axis gradiometer with 0.5 meter spacing between the two fluxgates, a range of ± 100µT and a low noise level. The instrument can reach a resolution better than 1nT and has an operating bandwidth from DC to 2kHz. It has been designed to operate at depths of up to 5000 metres and offers good temperature stability.
