VES Upgrades DSV Kingfisher
Veolia ES Industrial Services announces the addition of a 1,000 ft. SAT system to the DSV Kingfisher. The upgrade expands diving capabilities and provides the latest in saturation dive resources. The new 1,000ft. SAT system was designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME, PVHO and ABS underwater rules. Veolia ES Industrial Services worked in partnership with IUC Group to complete the project, which is International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) complaint. Mobilization and final testing of the system was completed in March 2009. The DSV Kingfisher is a 295-ft., 3,672-ton vessel that is specially designed to service the offshore oil and gas industry. It is currently supporting multiple clients in the Gulf of Mexico.
