It is optimally suited for shallow water, small boat surveys and can be easily deployed and operated by a single trained user. Typical applications for the System 3900 are for rapid deployment, shallow water search and recovery missions where the lower 445 kHz frequency enables the user to use the system in a long- range 'search' mode, and the higher frequency 900 kHz channel allows the user to acquire a higher resolution, more detailed image of the seabed targets to help better identify features of interest. The image quality of the Klein System 3900 offers the best imagery, available on the market, at shorter ranges.
