BlueView's DP900-90 for Guangzhou Marine Geology Survey C6 Multi-Sensor Platform (GMGS), a division of China's has Digital Data Output Multibeam Imaging
Ministry of Land and Resources. It has a depth rating of 4000 m, suitable for reaching the depths required for the mineral exploration the vehicle is designed to perform. The Sea Lion ROV comes equipped with eight hydraulic thrusters, two ISE Magnum manipulators, six cameras, and a full sensor package. The ROV has a 4000-m rated hyperbaric clathrate bucket designed to collect hydrate cores containing methane gasses. The skid mounted bucket maintains the required pressure and temperature conditions similar to the hydrate's geophysical environment. The submersible C6 Multi-Sensor Platform, introduced in 2006, integrates up to six field-interchangeable Cyclops-7 fluorometers and/or turbidity sensors. And now the C6 is available with digital data output for integration with third party platforms. The C-Soft Windows-based user interface allows for intuitive calibration, data logging, and data management. And the digital data output allows for easy integration with existing water monitoring systems such as CTDs, dataloggers, vessels of opportunity and buoys. Deployable up to a depth of 600 m, C6 booster cables is designed to allow RS232 communication at depths greater than 5 m.

BlueView Technologies launched a new 4000-m rated version of its acoustic underwater vision systems. The introduction of BlueView's first deep system is a response to requests from the offshore O&G industry for a BlueView sonar that can provide underwater vision solutions for deep operations. In addition to the new depth rating, the DP900-90 has a 90 degree imaging field of view, twice that of systems currently available. The significantly larger field-of-view provides OV operators with an improvement in low visibility navigation and operations. The system is available with either an Impulse MSSJ or a Schilling SeaNet connector, making integration onto most work-class ROVs a quick operation.
