UV Mini tracka
The UV Mini tracka is a submersible fluorimeter to monitor the concentration of hydrocarbons or Gelbstoff in a wide rage of oceanographic applications. In support of this, it has been designed to be deployed from submersible vehicles, moored or profiling systems. This compact, lightweight instrument is designed to provide improvements in power consumption over its predecessor, the UV Aqua tracka. The instrument is designed to be easy to use and to give accurate measurements.

infrared optical backscatter detectors that create what can be described as a vertical turbidimeter array. Two optional sensors are available, light and pressure. These can be sampled in a burst, so that the wave period can be estimated from the depth data. This SediMeter employs a new logic unit, the LogDator, which can work both in autonomous mode and in real-time RS485 network mode. It can be configured using a built-in display, or via serial communication. Data can be stored as files on MMC or SD memory cards, or in internal memory for retrieval via USB or RS485. The LogDator is also offered separately from the SediMeter.

ed. New, user friendly windows based software is designed to allow the user to easily configure the sensor for data sampling, data presentation, storage and export for post processing. Users have complete control of excitation protocols, and can define variable flashlet duration and intervals. With these improvements, Chelsea has launched the new instrument at a price significantly lower than its predecessor. The FASTtracka II is now available with dedicated Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) and depth sensors. These compliment the functionality of the FASTtracka II which provides Multiple Turnover (MT) as well as Single Turnover (ST) modes.

EdgeTech SSS Installed on REMUS AUV
EdgeTech's 2200-S 850 kHz Dynamically Focused Side Scan System will be installed on the Hydroid REMUS 600 AUVs recently ordered by the UK Ministry of Defence. The 850 kHz dynamically focused frequency provides extra high resolution imagery at longer ranges which makes it an ideal tool for Mine Countermeasure (MCM) surveys. The EdgeTech 2200-S systems will also be used by the Royal Navy for hydrographic surveys and environmental assessments. The EdgeTech 2200-S System is designed specifically for small AUVs and comes available with a choice of dual simultaneous 120 & 410 or 230 & 540 kHz frequencies or 230 with 850 kHz dynamically focused frequency. Other frequency combinations are also possible.
