CARIS UKHO Hydrographic Contract
EDS, as a prime contractor, and CARIS, as the sub-contractor, announced its selection for the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) Hydrographic Database (HDB) Project. Through the HDB Project, EDS and CARIS will Workflow Management technologies together with Bathy DataBASE and Hydrographic Production Database (HPD) software to manage and create paper and electronic chart products. This combined solution will represent an enterprise production environment where multiple products are created and updated from a centrally managed source.
Hydroid Opens UK Office
Hydroid, LLC opened an office in Southampton, England to support its sales, marketing, service and support teams in Europe. During the last 12 months, Hydroid has significantly broadened its worldwide presence to support a growing market demand. The Seatronics Group placed a significant order for group usage with Valeport. The equipment has been ordered in direct response to the high demand for Valeport products from Seatronics' customers. Products ordered include numerous Midas CTD's, SVP's, and the Midas SVX2 - Valeport's new small-scale combined CTD/SVP. Furuno Offer SIRIUS Marine Weather
