Position: Technical Support Coordinator Based: Houston (Pasadena)

The Technical Support Coordinator is responsible for providing technical advice to customers and colleagues on the application of Barwil Unitor's range of marine chemicals and other products. The Technical Support Coordinator will also analyse, interpret and report on product consumption data and the results of shipboard water analysis. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of chemistry within the marine or related industries (such as the petrochemical industry). Applicants should possess good presentation and listening skills. This position is based in our Customer Service Center in Houston (Pasadena).

USCG Licensed Assistant Engineer needed immediately with HP Endorsements above 5,800 hp and tonnage greater than 4,500 tons, for a 367' at-sea Fish Processing vessel off the coasts of Washington and Oregon, and operating in the Bering Sea Alaska. Must have a minimum of a Fishing Industry Assistant Unlimited License along with a current STCW 95 certificate. Unlimited DDE will also fit the requirement for the Assistant position. Assistant to Mooring Master
Requirements: · Sound judgment and common sense as well as the practice of good seamanship during offshore lightering operations to ensure that each operation is carried out in a safe and efficient manner · US Citizen or resident or permission to work in the USA · Fluent in English language, good communication skills · Valid seamen's documents. STCW preferred · Minimum 3 years marine experience preferred · Tanker Experience preferred · Good physical health/fitness (Physical exam, D&A test) · Willing to live/work on a workboat · Work Hours: 15 days on / 15 days off Responsible for: · Carrying out the directions of the Mooring Master and relaying communications to the officers and crew of the client vessel · Assisting in mooring and unmooring operations as well as hose connection and cargo transfer · Proper fender positioning and main fender deployment and retrieval.
